Q: Where are you located?
7449 Mission Gorge Road - at the corner of Princess View Drive and Mission Gorge Road in San Diego, about a mile and a half beyond the Kaiser Hospital at Zion toward Santee.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays.
Q: How have you managed to stay around all these years?
San Diego Shade has always focused on providing a good value at a fair price, and making sure our customers are satisfied with our work. We do what we say and if there is a problem with what we've done, we'll fix it.
Q: Are you bonded? Insured?
San Diego Shade is a fully licensed and bonded contractor. All of our installers are licensed and bonded contractors as well.
Q: Do you go to jobsites to measure for the window coverings?
Yes, and at no extra charge. In fact, we prefer to measure the job ourselves, to determine whether there are special issues for installation, etc. Then we can be responsible for the fit of the finish product.
Q: Do you provide installation service?
We have our own experienced installers, (licensed and bonded) and will install products that we sell.
Q: Do you carry the major brands?
Yes. We carry many of the major brands (Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Graber, etc.) as well as manufacturer our own products. The manufacturing aspect of our business gives us a better understanding of the quality and details that go into all the window coverings we sell.
Q: Can you handle large orders?
For sure. Many of our customers are commercial accounts that purchase and install hundreds of products at a time. We pride ourselves on our ability to successfully manage these large orders, as well as the attention we give all our clients regardless of their size.
Q: Since the word “linoleum” is in your official company name, what kind of flooring do you offer?
None. We no longer carry flooring at all. The name has been the same for many years and we keep for recognition purposes.
